SFDC Developer

Duration: 3 Months

Location: Milpitas 

 

Duties:    
The Salesforce developer will be responsible for the development of SFDC solutions emphasizing secure designs, high-performing technical solutions on the Force.com platform. The developer has experience communicating technical solutions and design tradeoffs to Business Analysts and following design stand practices resulting in scalable solutions. The position requires detailed expertise in the Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Customer Portal, Communities, Content module, and Knowledge modules. Responsibilities: Participate in the analysis and review of business requirements and work with Business Analyst in the design of solutions. Apply best practices and technical and business experience to Salesforce solutions, including design trade-off, and communicating design choices. Provide technical support for new projects, enhancements, and fixes to the overall Salesforce.com platform. Provide design documentation and planning for current and future systems design. Work with backend systems integration and Data Warehouse team members to implement integrated data and process flows. Analyze and recommend improvements to existing data and process flows. Support Salesforce.com Admins as necessary to set up fields, profiles, roles, security, and other configurations. Import large volumes of data using Data Loader or Demand Tools. Coordinate solution requirements, design and testing with BA’s at HQ in CA, USA. Work within the SDLC process including managing solutions from one environment to the next.

Skills:    

6 years of experience developing large-scale, custom solutions on the Force.com platform (Enterprise edition or higher). At least one large Salesforce implementation project involving multiple releases, change management process, or multi-locale deployment. Experience in translating business requirements into working solutions using a combination of Salesforce.com configuration and custom development approaches. Experience in building business logic into Visual Work Flow Wizard focused on improved Customer experience. Expertise required in building customer facing, web-based user interfaces for Customer & Partner Portal, with a understanding of HTML or XHTML, XML, Java, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SQL, SOAP based or RESTful web services, and Adobe FLASH. 3 or more years of implementation experience, including development, across the full software development lifecycle 1 or more years of experience with Force.com as a technical lead General experience with real-time integration; experience with integration on the SalesForce.com platform Awareness of data migration considerations, design trade-offs, and common ETL tools Strong working knowledge with analytics, data conversions, interfaces and manipulating data with a scripting language (SQR, PL, SQL, ABAP, VB, etc) Strong System Admin experience and Knowledge of common third-party solution providers for Salesforce Experience designing test plans and evaluating effectiveness scalable solutions Experience with lifecycle methodologies, AGILE, SCRUM Knowledge of internet and cloud architecture paradigms Experience in Mobile application solutions and consideration in development with Salesforce Touch Certified developer (DEV401) is preferred. Strong problem solving and analytic skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical areas. Will accept any equivalent combination of education and experience.
