This client is responsible for helping some of the world’s most important medical research institutions achieve their breakthroughs. Dynamic, cutting edge and innovative describe this company’s environment.  Their 50,000 employees in 50 countries help make the world a healthier place.  They are currently in urgent need of a Project Manager to manage new product development in the biotech manufacturing space.

 

This is a 6-month contract based in Fair Lawn, NJ

 

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for support of product transfer activities for ~10 products between facilities in Austin Texas and Fair Lawn NJ.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical and organizational feasibility Coordinate utilization of internal and external resources for the flawless execution of projects.

Ensure resource availability and allocation Develop a detailed project plan to track progress Conduct routine project meetings to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Hold task owners accountable for timely execution.

Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques Report and escalate to management and project stakeholders as needed.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management leading product transfers in the Chemical/Medical Device/Pharmaceutical industry

PMP certification

Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products.

Strong project management / program leadership skills with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong leadership and decision-making ability. Strong computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products.
